ARS Progetti believes environmental stewardship is imperative to preserve natural heritage for present and future generations, and deems that engaging in pro-environmental behaviour is a fundamental responsibility.  
ARS Progetti is thus committed to reduce the ecological footprint of its activities and contribute to environmental sustainability wherever possible, in order to do our part in preserving the long-term systematic ability of the environment to provide and recycle natural resources.
Our concern for the environment is central in all our of consulting services and products, as is our respect for the principles of human rights, justice, dignity, gender equity, moral balance and non-discrimination.  These core values take precedence, irrespective of the specific terms of reference of the projects on which we work.

ARS Progetti is in full and proactive compliance with all local and international and laws and regulations concerning water and energy savings, CO2 emissions, solid waste disposal and recycling, as well as urban transport and parking.

Additionally, as an organisation we have adopted and implemented the following within all of our offices:

 

Control and reduction of water consumption by use of appropriate taps and toilet flush
Purchase and use of eco-friendly office supplies, such as pens and cleaning sprays that are free from harmful substances in order to prevent pollution
Control and reduction of energy consumption by use of internal office policy and awareness to promote energy saving practices. This includes: energy saving measures; efficient management of office heating and lighting; use of low consumption lighting fixtures; heating hours and temperature control; natural illumination and ventilation; nightly shut-down of all electronic equipment; knowledge and use of the ecological labels and seals
Implementation of strict rules for purchasing paper (TCF)1, as well as the optimization and planning of its consumption, limitation of printing, re-use of scrap paper and the use of recycled paper. Additonally, all equipment and consumption materials selection is based on environmental and social criterium, and the quality of environmental certification of suppliers
Control and reduction of waste by limiting disposable items, increasing office-wide recycling and the use of re-manufactured toner for printers and copiers, waste-disposal through dedicated channels, recycling of and differentiated disposal of solids, such as paper, plastic, batteries; Disposal of used electronic equipment through recycling organizations
Reduction of CO2 emissions by avoiding the use of materials containing organic solvents such as VOCs, fluorocarbons (PFC), and any other air pollutants, as well as by optimizing transport to and from our in-country base offices, as well as where we have projects.
Company-wide awareness aimed to reduce local pollution (dust, noise, odours)
Commitment to use the most recent technology in order to increase occupational safety, health and indoor climate for our employees, including prevention measures to avoid the spread of COVID-19 virus.
